A Note From Our Founder

Dear mama,

The YANA Method was born during one of the most challenging and transformative chapters of my life.

After welcoming my second child, Kai, I found myself navigating the quiet weight of postnatal depression while trying to keep everything together on the outside. Like so many mothers, I was functioning, caring, and showing up - while internally feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and disconnected from myself.

It was during this season that breathwork found me.
What began as a simple practice for stress relief slowly became a lifeline - offering me moments of calm, clarity, and emotional grounding when I needed it most. Through breathwork, I experienced first hand how powerful nervous system regulation can be, especially for stress management for busy moms and working mothers.

With over nine years of experience in health and wellness coaching, my work has always centered on helping women create sustainable, nurturing habits that support both physical and emotional well-being. But becoming a certified breathwork facilitator deepened this journey in a way I never expected. It not only supported my healing from postpartum challenges, but also shaped my purpose - to create accessible, compassionate self care for moms that fits into real life.

The YANA Method was created for mothers who don’t have hours to spare but still deserve support. It’s for moments when you need a calm reset as an anxious mom, when emotions feel heightened, or when stress builds quietly beneath the surface. It’s also for mothers seeking gentle tools like anxiety meditation for breastfeeding moms, or grounding practices that don’t require silence, perfection, or isolation.

YANA stands for You Are Not Alone - because motherhood was never meant to be navigated solo.

My hope is that the YANA Method app for moms becomes a small but meaningful ritual in your day - a space where you can breathe, regulate, and reconnect with yourself no matter what season of motherhood you’re in.
